Devlog - 14: Enemy defensive tower
Devlog - 14: Enemy defensive tower
It's time for the enemy's defense to have the same options the player has, though it will be a bit different. I'm not aiming to strike a balance between the two factions, as even though they're both machines I want them to feel different. I'm not aiming at some kind of a balance for pattern and their cost.
The enemy's defense tower is a laser tower, the idea is for it to be a fast but low damage tower. I was also able to get the laser to work, firing from the tower to the unit accurately.
Preview of it in action:
I'm not satisfied with how it looks, I feel like I the place where the laser is is a bit messed up and weird, but I'll leave it for now and come back to it later.
I've also started to work on the steam page, descriptions and images but it's slow going. The images especially will take a while, I'm actually thinking to put some kind of placeholders for now to not spend so much time on it and focus more on the game. More about this in one of the future devlogs :)
