Start of "A Byte War"
For this first devlog post I won't talk about what I've done, but instead give a general overview of the game, idea and plans.
The Game
A Byte War is a real time strategy game where you fight against an extra dimensional incursion. Build your base out of the building block of your race, the Cube. Create functional patterns that turn into buildings and assimilate the world to harvest it for the resources you need.
Idea
Game idea is very simple. It was inspired by Protolife + some old school C&C with base building and units to attack and defend. It won't be a very complex game but I do want to make it a bit unique in the way it plays.
Devlog
The game small description is something that could change overtime as it's developed.
This devlog is a way for me to primarily reach more people, get more opinions and eye on this game. It's also for me to be consistent in my updates, which will hopefully be daily.
Wrap up
I don't want to spend too much time writing or rewriting stuff, as I want to spend more time making the game.
